Featuring new technology with smaller diodes, this COMPACT G4 LED Tower Bulb combines enhanced light output with reduced energy consumption.
Replaces G4 bi pin halogen bulbs or xenon bulbs found in rv lights or boat lights - great for reading lights or fixtures where 360° illumination is acceptable or preferred.
HELPFUL HINT - in some cases removing the reflector will expose extra space for the LED bulb.
Operates on 12 volts DC or 24 volts DC (acceptable voltage range is 10vdc to 30vdc).

*Comparison Note:
We offer our 12 Volt LED Bulbs comparisons to be used as a guideline - simply stated - incandescent, halogen and Xenon bulbs all have initial Lumens outputs which not only vary by manufacturer, but also degrade with use, the current lumens output of your 12 volt bulbs is unknown. Additionally, conversion of lumens to wattage is not a direct science and we prefer not to overstate (values shown reflect lumen efficacy of bulb type: 16-halogen, 7 incandescent & 16-MR). The fixture, lens and reflector may also be factors in determining desired results. When making comparisons choose bulbs with same color temperature and compare their lumens. (Our goal is your satisfaction, and therefore we offer a liberal return / exchange policy).
LED Bulbs (LED = light emitting diodes) have many advantages:
Low power consumption - 12 Volt LED Bulbs use up to 5x less power than their equivalent halogen, Xenon and incandescent predecessors.
Minimal Heat Dissipation - keeps cabins / rooms cooler.
Shock Resistant - no filament or glass to break.
Environmentally Green - no mercury (as in fluorescent bulbs).

12 Volt LED Bulbs are available in various colors (known as color temperatures) including Warm White, Cool White, Red, and Blue. Red-White and Blue-White combinations are also available for some styles, especially the G4 style bulbs.
All of their 12 volt LED bulbs are typically operable over the range of 10-30v dc unless stated otherwise. Additionally, many of the G4 and Bayonet series are fused for protection from entire circuit outage if one is compromised.
